This journal is a peer reviewed, open access journal.

User Rights

All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. Permitted reuse is defined by the following user license:

Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND):

for non-commercial purposes, lets others distribute and copy the article, and to include in a collective work (such as an anthology), as long as they credit the author(s) and provided they do not alter or modify the article.

If you need to comply with your funding body policy you can apply for the CC BY license after your manuscript is accepted for publication.

Open Access Publication Fee

As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee is payable by the author or research funder to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone. IJAAM is offering various discounted APC's (excluding taxes) as below. Authors will not be limited by the number of pages, number of figures, or colour figures.

Open Access Fee will be 1800 INR for Indian author & US$ 100 per article for individual contributors from low and middle-income countries as per World Bank 2018 classification. For avoidance of doubt, these countries are defined in the World Bank List of Low and Middle-Income Countries, 2018 set forth.

For all individual contributors not covered by the above two criteria, Open Access Fee is US$ 250 per article.

Author Rights

For open access publishing, this journal uses a copyright transfer agreement. Authors will transfer copyright to the IJAAM, but will have the right to share their article in the same ways permitted to third parties under the relevant user license, as well as certain scholarly usage rights.

Anti-Plagiarism policy

International Journal of Ayurveda & Alternative Medicine regards plagiarism as a very serious offence. Even though in some cases it may be result of poor referencing practice, when it is deliberate and systematic, plagiarism amounts to cheating. Plagiarism consist of a person/s claiming another person’s ideas or findings or work as one’s own by copying or reproducing the work without due acknowledgement of the source. Plagiarism amounts to pilfering of intellectual property.Plagiarism may occur several forms like presenting substantial extracts from books, journal articles, thesis and other published or unpublished work without properly indicating the source of the material, using close paraphrasing of sentences or whole paragraphs without due acknowledgement in the form of reference to the original work, exactly copying and pasting of data, tables, figures from other publications without acknowledging the source and closely replicating the structure of someone else’s one’s own argument without apparent reference and due credit to the source.
